PROBLEM
The fast fashion industry generates significant textile waste, with the average Australian purchasing 27 kg of clothing annually and discarding 23 kg, contributing to 6,000 kg of waste every 10 minutes. People discard clothes due to poor fit, damage, or changing preferences, but limited recycling and donation options exacerbate the issue.
